If You are Experiencing Anxiety over ICE Activity

We understand that ICE activity and immigration enforcement actions can be deeply stressful. These are serious situations that often involve fear, confusion, and uncertainty. It is important to note that we are not therapists. We are here to provide legal counsel about an immigration problem; we can not, nor are we qualified, to provide emotional comfort or support.

To maintain professionalism and efficiency, please note the following office policies:

  1. We will only discuss essential, case-relevant matters. This includes your immigration status, rights, upcoming deadlines, documentation, and legal options. We will only provide updates when USCIS has acted on your application. Clients who insist on updates that are beyond the scope of normal communications will be billed for the additional work.

  2. Hypotheticals, social media rumors, political discussions are not part of casework unless directly relevant to your situation. If you still wish to explore these topics, they will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

  3. Abusive, hostile, or disruptive behavior will result in immediate termination of representation. We understand that emotions may run high, but we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for verbal abuse or harassment of our staff. We are here to help you, and mutual respect is non-negotiable.

  4. If you are concerned about ICE activity near you, we do not respond to speculative questions based on unverified rumors or fear-based scenarios.

If you are experiencing anxiety or emotional distress, we strongly encourage you to speak with a licensed mental health professional for additional support. You may also look into speaking with clergy for assistance. Thank you for understanding, and for respecting the boundaries that allow us to serve all clients effectively and ethically.
